Christmas cookies
This year with the surgery we haven't been able to do everything scheduled with our Advent Calendar. But yesterday's activity was to bake Christmas cookies. We were all home, Polly was doing well, so we went for it. Even though it was just a pack of ready bake chocolate chip cookies. We rolled out the dough with cans of soup (can't find my rolling pins, do I even have rolling pins?)and cut out trees and candy canes, bells and snowmen. It was fun and more importantly, we were done in an hour. Polly dug the rolling part and Evie liked playing with the plastic cookie cutters and Elaina and Zoya could do the whole process themselves. All in all, a success in my book.
