I wanted to let you know about a play opening up tonight in the city
called Chester and the Unbearable Burden, Parts I & II. This Harry
Potter with a splash of Lord of the Rings parody is written and directed
by a very good friend of ours named Ben Fort (a graduate of Second City's writing program). The play is family
friendly, and our oldest daughter Elaina even has a small part in the
very last scene! We've seen some of it at rehearsal. It's well done,
hilarious, and completely appropriate for the whole family (that is, for
anyone who can sit quietly and enjoy something for two hours).
